| Suecastle 6-5 plough.
Suecastle deserved win young team lots off pace sort off teams we will always struggle against. Pitch is on a big slant both teams won half they went downhill. Division 7 is definitely a lot harder this year. Well played suecastle.

| Monsell WMC Reserves 5 - 5 Wigston fields
Goal scorers: Steve toone, stef Kuyzk, mark Allen x2 and Luke Allen.
Close game, the gaffer getting a last minute qualifier to salvage a point. A game which swung one way then the next with monsell taking the lead but fields going in 2-1 at the break. After the break monsell equalised but wigston regained the lead to make it 3-2. Then monsell scored a equaliser and a goal to make it 4-3 to monsell. Fields equalised (4-4). Then controversy hit, a throwing was awarded to monsell which wigston felt shouldn't have been given to them which monsell scored from to make it 5-4. Then in the last minute an indirect freekick awarded to fields after the monsell keeper taking too long for his kick. Luke Allen popping up with the equaliser from 6 yards. Monsell a good set of lads, definitely not pot hunters. Tough team to play against, but glad we got the point. Both teams will be disappointed to not keep a lead and make it stick though

| Trinderbox 0-2 Q.P.R Simon Harper Shane Jackson
A solid performance from the Q.P.R lads certainly a game of 2 halfs we just couldn't get a foot on the ball or settle 1st half Trinderbox hitting the post as their best chance.
After the break we were organised & played the better football. The game could have been 4 or 5 but a wonder save from their keeper kept the scores down to 2-0.
Trinderbox never really threatend in 2nd half resorted to pumping the ball in the box.
A vintage sunday league match with hussler, bussle & banter a plenty that was excellently referee'd.

| How can Div 7 be so much stronger this season? Must be a weak division somewhere! | |

| To be honest I am a bit surprised of the start Carnabys plough and fccol have made. Shows teams have strengthened I think and new teams are holding there own. Obviously there may have been players missing or other circumstances on the day but is going to be a tough division | |

| A lot of the teams have got young eager players, who seem to revel in a winning team but when the goals dry up or they start to struggle in the winter will their commitment still be there?? TBH we, WF, have thrown possible winning opportunities through poor defending. Monsell and Friar were steady but very beatable if chances had been put away and we had defended like a senior team. Yesterday we could and possibly should have been 2 up before Monsell scored. We should be happy with two draws after being in losing positions. I feel defences that do not leak silly goals will be the strongest sides in this division, both Friar and Monsell had average defenders who when put under pressure made lots of mistakes.
