April fixtures

James, the Alliance Fixtures Secretary has been working hard all week on the April fixtures and they will be published soon. The first night matches will be on Wednesday March 31st with a 6 pm kick off. Alliance games in April will be restricted to Wednesdays and Fridays

In some Divisions, especially Division 4, it is inevitable that some teams will have a free Sunday and will still be playing midweek. This is because there will be several teams queuing to play the teams which have a backlog and not all teams in the queue can play the backlog games on a Sunday. Please be prepared.

It is also possible that teams which have few games to play (and there are some) will have two free Sundays before they have their next game.

I think and hope that we all know that the fixtures have been a nightmare, this season. James has worked wonders but some chickens will be coming home to roost in April. Please continue to be understanding - it would be very much appreciated.

Any ideas when we will know about the midweek matches as I know I will and atleast half my team will need to book it off work.

Here are the fixtures for the first 2 sets of midweeks (Wednesday / Friday).

The rest of the fixtures for April will be on the website in the next few days or so.

As you can imagine it's been a massive task and I've counted there are 286 fixtures arranged and scheduled and that doesn't include the finals!!!! This means there will def be some people not happy. Unfotunately I can't please everyone!!!

Also when the complete fixtures are available will everyone please have a look at these and if there are any mistakes / duplications / games missing etc let me know as soon as possible so I can have a look into and sort the problem.

It might be my last season - but with this fixture backlog and games 3 times a week it'll seem like two seasons!!!

all good for us we get to play throops and gutho before the final see wat they like, also they play wednesday and fridays before the final
