Games off Sunday

Had an email from Oadby and wigston council said they are calling all games off in the area

Inc fairfield v car breakers

Being very proactive!!

Think this thread may get bigger, and bigger......

Anyone know enderby town and if there ground is council or not?

I assume all local authority pitches will have a cancelled on them this w/e

They play on a park like us so it will be to the discretion of the match official and the managers.

The pitch providers have the over-riding authority on the fitness of a pitch - otherwise the decision is that of the match referee, or where appropriate a local referee.

Oadby and Wigston Council have informed us that all matches within their authority are postponed on Sunday

Mr Daniels please tell me your gonna get a local ref to call our game off so we don't have to risk travelling to your place. That way I can get texts out of the way and enjoy the weekend with phone off and look forward to a beer or ten

do we, we're supposed to be away? although saw a picture of the Kilworth pitch yesterday and i would say there is no chance of it being fit to play on by the weekend.

Well I went down yesterday and there was a large Snow Penis in the far goalmouth area. This could prove the deciding factor on whether its on or not as offsides will be particularly tough to call, but very handy as part of a wall for defending freekicks.

We'll keep you posted. Dont you want to play us? 3 points up for grabs again? Orange ball etc?

harborough u14's have booked it, so no game unless we have a thaw!

The leicester District League have blanket called off all games on saturday!!!!
I'm sure common sense will prevail if the expected weather we're expecting happens,so would'nt worry about pointless travelling to grounds,our league no doubt will be on the ball.

Well done, I was dreading a fine as we were not goin to travel to sunny broughton. Would guess same fixtures to be listed for the next couple of weeks?

I will leave that one to James. Unfortunately it is not quite as straightforward as that due to some of the pitch share arrangements that exist in Sunday football - not just between Alliance teams but involving teams of other Leagues.
