| The Leicester City Council has called Leicester Sunday League games off. The LSL may have called their remaining games off.
THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO ALLIANCE LEAGUE GAMES AND THESE WILL GO AHEAD SUBJECT TO REFS INSPECTION.

| Seems trivial, I am unlikely to find out until tomorrow morning now as I have work. I have had texts all day from my lads asking if the league could seriously contemplate playing fixtures. | |

| A referees inspection at 9 am arranged by the home club should avoid unnecessary travelling.
Its all in the Bad Weather Procedure.

| I think it's a joke people are even hoping for games. These conditions are far colder than anything we had last season. I appreciate the fear of backlog but there will be hundreds of pounds worth of petrol wasted tomorrow morning for no reason. Some folks have to travel a good distance. Some common sense is very much needed. Pressure to get games played is not needed. We all love playing and if it's safe, we'd play. Tomorrow simply won't be safe in slightest. | |

| You also have to pay the Ref for turning up to call the game off (half fee) so home teams losing out as I wouldn't think you'd get any subs.
As CSKA stated, a bit of common sense on this one as it's obvious that games shouldn't be played unless it's at Rushey Fields with the undersoil heating.
Means a few extra pints to be supped tonight aswell

| good points being made to be fair. hasnt been above freezing all day. wont be tomorrow. peoples money will be wasted here. we're only at desford, but other sides have to travel further. these are exceptional circumstances to be fair | |

| the pitches arent going to be playable but pitches should be least of the worries, what about the state of the roads ??slippy as f#*# already, its going to be dangerous for people to travel to games its ok if you all live quite local and are playing locally less risk but ive got lads coming to blaby from markfield, great glen, anstey and scraptoft which are all fair distances to travel normally never mind in these conditions...... and im sure alot of teams are in the same position. | |

| It does seem pretty rediculous, none of us want a fixtures pile up but at the same time id rather cram in a few extra games at the end of the season rather than have casualties either on the way too the game or whilst playing the game itself......CRAZY. | |

| Agreed with you there superfly. I don't mind the pitch being rubbish but i saw quite a few cars skid off the road today and game of football doesn't seem worth the risk. Having said that, if there is a fixture pile up we can't moan! |

agree totally. Our referee for tomorrow has been great, called me back earlier, also made another call later. Peter Johnson i think his name is. Game is still up in the air but he has been top notch about the procedure etc |
