Kev said he was working near Uplands so had a look and it was a quagmire, but the council have said it should ok be for the weekend, so fingers crossed!

Don't know?! All I know is that your secretary informed me your pitch was not available. I acted on this information and changed the first team game. Unfortunately there were 7 teams and with your first team having played so many away i chose to not give you a game. As per your secretary it's the clubs responsibility to let me know if pitches aren't available and as I've not had any notification from CFA I assume everything is ok!!

Rawlins is defo shut. I'll be down to watch the Seconds. Looking forward to it if it gets the go ahead.

Haven't the council wiped out all the fixtures yet??

James will have that information - I have not heard anything.

However St Marks v Hat & Beaver in the Walton has been reversed. The St Marks pitch is unfit but Hat & Beaver's pitch on Western Park has been declared playable, for the moment at least.

I have a list of city council p-p's I will work through and post ASAP. That have NOT called everything off!

We play on the pitch next to horse and our ref called ours off earlier today following inspection and with the rain we were still expecting

Indeed - now the decisions are down to the referees, unless a Council or pitch provider steps in.

We have a game on at Brighton Avenue, but others off, and the same principle at Harborough Leisure Centre, Western Park, and Judgemeadow - so it could be down to the condition of individual pitches - unless of course, the League has not ben informed.

Of the 13 games still on, 6 are Oadby and Wigston Council, 2 Leicester City Council, 2 Harborough Council, 1 Thurmaston Parish Council, 1 Sport in Desford and 1 at Judgemeadow.

Fingers crossed but I am not holding my breath

Some pitches hold up better than others I guess. Will be surprised if the oadby games goes ahead anyway, and I'd prefer a game to be called off in Sat rather than Sunday morning when you get there
