| CSKA Carnabys v Royale Barcabullona is the last stand against the elements
And yes - James is working on the fixtures for next Sunday, which of course includes working around County Competition games. They will be released when available.

CSKA 1 - 4 Royal Barca
Deserved more from this game, score doesn't really reflect the game we have plenty of chances but just couldn't finish.

| How many more teams will be playing on an artificial surface like CSKA next season? It does avoid the start and end of season mid-week games. | |

The better side won but the game was much tighter than score line suggests. We missed a penalty a 0-0 for handball on the line and both sides had enough chances to win the game but Barcabullona tool their chances well. Very good, open game of football with two sides trying to play in the right way. Disappointed with the results but pleased with the performance.

I think the real winner here was Sports Direct at Fosse Park. Lots of new boots having to be bought by our side just for the 3G experience.
In all honesty, it was nice to play on a flat surface for once which allowed for a lot of good football to be played. CSKA missed a fair few chances, most notably the penalty, and a lot of credit for that has to go to our keeper Alec Hill who was brilliant today.
Some good performances from us, our team is 10 times better now than it was against QPR in the previous round and I think we actually looked like a Div 1 side today. But take nothing away from CSKA, they matched us for the majority of the game but the difference was the finishing in the end.
Thought their midfield was pretty good, some dodgy haircuts, but good footballers nonetheless.
Particularly enjoyed the flood we had to drive through in order to get to Quorn, excellent alloy cleaning service provided.
MOTM The Wires accross the pitch, excellent interceptions throughout, good in the air, top quality 9/10.

| ha ha its never hit the wire that much in a game before.
was a good game to be a part of and if we can take some of the cup form against higher opposition then we should get the season back on track.
never want to see anybody booked/sent off but it would have given us a bigger chance but a cracking save none the less. just wish the refs were consistant. some refs insist on booking people for nothing but fair play to steve hill, one of the best guys the league has to offer.
good luck for the rest of the season, great bunch of lads

| I work hard, its prats like you that depend on me, if it weren't for my tax, you and all your kids wouldn't have toys this xmas, keep breeding them out even lthough you need help to pay for them, we ought to make the chinese rule for people like you, one kid per couple only, then you've got no excuse to sponge of the system for your child benefit/beer money. | |

A couple of my mates lost their jobs last week, due to a local building firm closing down( Hallam contracts), and having a knock on effect, last thing you want this time of year especially, and no doubt there will be a lot more associated redundancies because of this.
