A good star from the lads today. Shame to see Magna have a couple sent off on the last 15 but they'll grow together and improve but gotta say impressed with our boys today they looked a little too strong for a new Magna side

no lol, the skipper and Keeper, both fouls denying goal scoring chances.....

How we didnt get anything from this game has the ball for prob
70 mins, tumars first goal great header second goal came from us pushing for the equaliser, pulled One bk not long from dean summers good finish, but 2 many missed chances cost us,
Very happy wiv the overall performance from our lot,

how enough us (lks) have not just won that game of footy is beyond me we had enough chances 2 win 2 games fair play 2 bowden they stuck in there but a peno miss and at least another 8 or 9 gd chances cost us goals win mathes though

FC Pochin 4 v 1 Leicester Bharat Talbot

Thought both sides played good football on a difficult pitch. Hat trick for Andy, a screamer from Azza and quality performances all round.

The LBT keeper pulled off some unbelievable saves and fair play to LBT who kept going til the end and I apologise to my team for the slip that gave LBT a goal in injury time.

Good luck to Will, Yella and LBT for the rest of the season

we weren't at our best tonight to be fair but hopefully its a step in the right direction. decent game of footy where we were under pressure for most but stuck in right to the end.

the team did everything i had asked them to tonight,everybody was really up for it,the defence solid the midfield creative and the forwards
dangerous.all in all a really good performance for the 1st game of the season we just need to carry it on into the next game now.all four new signings fitted in really well although we will be missing 2/3 players for sunday,but at least we will be able to test the strength of the squad.

and blackie don,t worry mate it was the previous 89mins that mattered

all credit to talbot a really good set of lads
they came at us strongly after half time and could have got back into it at that stage,
and your keeper had a great game
all the best for the season

u certainly did matt we had alot of chances and maybe should have killed u off on this form we defo aint title contenders although 2 mistakes 4 both ur goals

they'll be plenty of games like that!! yes ref was questionable(not saying anymore!) happy with 2-2. we tried our hardest to miss those goals too!!

Royalist 1 mivan 5

Started really slow today and the very poor pitch didn't help, it was nigh impossible to pass to each other because it was that long. Anyone playing there, be warned! We went in at the break 1-0 up but started the second half brilliantly. Scored 4 in the space of 10 min. We also lost our top goal scorer rav early in the 2nd too which didnt help. We missed chance after chance after chance... Their lad scored a really good individual goal and credit to him.

We still have plenty of more gears to shift up and we know it, good start to the season though.

poor first half from us never got going could not pass a ball 5 yards 2nd to evereything
1 goal hit the post and fell to a pochin player to slot in a empty net from 8 yards
2 goal bad defending messing about got tackled ball went across the area and put in the net
2-0 ht

2nd half thought we woke up started playing the football we can. then a moment of madness from the ref giving a pen that was clear to all even pochin players that yella won the ball as he was last man he should have went but not even a yella card which killed the game of for us going 3-0 down then they score a 4th from about 8yards in all we deserves nothing from the game pochin got the 3pts we never we start again sunday at home to huncote res .............well done pochin good luck for the rest of the season .......there was no screamer scored as all was around 10yards out and the last our player got a touch that took it away from me ............ up the talbot

I think that's a bit harsh. Especially considering LKS missed out their own midfield every single time so they showed nothing all game, even LKS number 11 said it all game. Anyone playing against LKS just need to plan against the route one ball over the top. That was all they did all game. No plan B.

Fair play to them as both of LKS goals came from this, but if they mixed it up a bit they probably would have won the game.

We (Bowden) were definitely rusty with it being the first game of the season, but we showed something last night that was missing all last season. A fighting spirit and a desire to get something out of the game. I dont think either of us look good enough to challenge for the league, but we will both be mixing it in the middle come the end of the campaign. Good luck for the rest of the season to LKS.

Agree first goal was a fluke as it was a massive mistake from your keeper. Second goal was no fluke, we knew the throw would make it and we gambled and fought to the end. No fluke there. To be fair LKS should have maybe been out of sight but thats football.
