| Do we have to pay the ref if he or she (politically correct), if they turn up to inspect the pitch and the games called off? | |

| i believe a ref can claim expenses for a pitch inspection, if you ref lives far away you can ask for a local qualified ref to have a look
quick look at rules and cant see anything, but i think that migth be in order | |

| The ref is entitled to half the fee if he turns up and the game does not go ahead. We've never had to pay for this yet as the ref's we've had when this has happened have declined payment | |

| I dont think refs should get paid if they call the game off would encourage them to actually play the game when there is a bit of rain | |
