Stolen Goal Posts

We have just found out that our cross bars have been stolen from our ground. Our first game is 9th Sept so does anyone have or know of a spare set we can borrow or buy? Any help would be appreciated else our season might be over before it starts. Neither us or our Saturday team can afford a brand new set of goals. The Parish Council who owns the ground have always been unwilling to supply us with goals so the old one were bought by the Sat team a number of years ago.

Some stupid idiot's about!!! i'm trying to think if anyone has a set who maybe would sell cheaply week by week basis or something to help you out

Bit pricey but knowing dom he is a reasonable guy maybe could do a deal with you.

Cross bars now found. The groundsman from the council has informed us he moved them from our usual storage place and put them in his machine shed without informing us or the council. Thanks for the help though.

did you have to pay £400 to get them back?

Thankfully not but we're are still enquiring about those goals for sale as ours are about 20 years old and in need of replacing anyway.

Makes you wonder what all the comotion was about in the first place, ha ha

20 year old cross bars are better than no cross bars. And we haven't got £1000 to replace them.
