Rutter only has 1 of his mates playing with us. He does know Blaber from some time ago but he come along with a ross a few weeks back.

We do have an ok team but 1 of our strongest teams lost to Pochins last week so cant see us winning the league this season unless we manage to pull in 1 or 2 more players to bolster the squad.

Would be happy with a mid table finish.

Funny to see Robbo's go down to Div 2 though - heard they have already celebrated the league win??

Can you offer more than heresay mate? If there is something going on, then i am sure the league would be happy to look into it. Can you name the ex-robbos players that are going to be in the Aylestone team?

Widds, hodgo is very good I'd snap him up straight away!! Easily prem standard and easily good enough for advance,prem sports etc

if its just the one guy tho, fair play to them.

I think they've got slightly more than just that one guy.........

Then people 'in the know' need to make the committee members aware of who is ex-Robbo etc so they can keep an eye out...
Speaking as NRI sec, not too fussed myself as i saw them and Azzuri as our biggest rivals! But bigger picture is that Aylestone do seem to be signing some quality players on....

how about spencer in goal, man of the match for loughborough dynamo in a westerby cup final win over hinckley, on #80 a game now up to a ton a game for this season, how about ross trevor who wont be signing until the season is underway, how about danny hodgo, possibly the best striker in the league, how about jamie sly, taylor up front with hodgo, just for measure they had 28 players at training the other night, like i have said before, i fancied them to win division 1 comfortably enough so how they have been dropped down to div 2 is absolutely unreal, they would be a definite top 5 side in the prem and im saying that to be kind as they could quite possibly challenge for the prem title

Thats more helpful mate...sure there was a reason for dropping them down a div, but it gives the league more to be aware of...

if the above is true (and I for one never get carried away with what I read on here in ANY thread, although to be fair Tommy seems to have the inside track on this) I'm sure the league would want to look at this in finer detail. And with my Div 2 Polska hat on (and not my Alliance one) no one wants a Prem side in Div 2, let's have a level playing field and what a Prem it would be if they were in there also.

i tried to sign a player who knocks about with the saff lounge lads but as soon as he got wind of robbos restarting he soon decided he wasnt signing for us, i know for a fact that they are good enough for the prem and im very surprised that the league dont

depends what gets said at new club interviews I guess.

baz dovey is the hardest working player in our squad so there is no chance that he is going anywhere
