County Cup Draw

Have we any idea when we're likely to see the draw for the county cup published? A bit keen I know but holds our only slight chance of any silverware this year

and the billy walton quarters anyone?

The draws have been done just not published yet so if they have contacts they are probably right - just nice to know when the rest will be published, wouldn't of expected the usual checks etc. to take quite so long as theres not as many teams left now.

they have to work out the pitch sharing issues which may alter the draw hence why it takes longer than it should

Similar league records. They "only" beat Thurmaston 4-1 but it was early on in the season. Narrow victories in the last two rounds as well so hopefully in with a chance.

know a mate who played against them earlier in the season. apparently no great shakes at the back and they had a fair few decisions go their way

In the Premier Cup, GT's reward for beating Magna 73 is an away trip to Birstall Stamford who put Advance Couriers out of both this competition and the FA Sunday cup. Its a repeat of last seasons Intermediate cup final when runaway LSL leaders Wigston Car Breakers host Sparta Moshdock and Glenfield Town host a very strong Whitwick compass side.

With all due respect, the Alliance will do well to have a representative in the last 4

Looks good in the Shield, 2 All Alliance ties so definately 2 of the 5 into the last four and Reem Team will fancy their chances against Loughborough Saints after beating the team top of their league in the last round! potential for 3/4 semi finalists

Thurlaston Magpies (Sunday) vs Guthlaxton Old Boys
Star & Garter vs FC Hob

With a league hat on, lets hope for all Alliance Semi's, with my sensible hat on, going against our previous performances vs Throops and Sunbury and with how S&G are going this year may be wise to hope for a team from different league!

Sunday trophy - we played sporting dynamo reserves in a friendly on a free Sunday few weeks ago now. They'll be ones to watch. Dodgy keeper but alot of talent on the pitch

i can quite easily see an all-alliance semi

Will be a tough game for us, Fc Hob played 10 and won 10 in their division and they beat Fosse 7-1 in the previous round.

Should be a good game!
