| Is there a form to fill in when you want to put a report in about referees or do you put it on your results form | |

| If u score them 60 or lower out of 100 u have to submit an email to the ref sec explaining why! Can get all your points across in there! Not sure if there is a complaints form | |

| Thanks for that - perhaps the league could come up with a form of sorts - would make life easier

| How often are you planning on using such a form? | |

| hopefully just the once - but im sure there are others who might make far more use of it than me - if you believe whats put on here that is or do they just moan about the ref's and then bottle putting a report in | |

| I think many just moan about refs completely unaware of the socring process involved.
Certainly at our club the decision of how to score a ref for a match is just one persons opinion rather than by committee which would be a fairer indiction of performance

| we try and get opinions from the lads in the pub after the game as well as the manager and secretarys opinions - its still down to the secretary at the end of the day what score they put down and if they can be bothered to write a report out | |

| just an e-mail would do and surely easier than designing a form. you also have more space on e-mail | |

| try this method start with the referee having 100 points (max) he loses points for things he does wrong,,,,, did he turn up on time,, did he wear the right uniform did he apply the laws of the game correctly was he fair and consistant to both teams was he fit and keep up with play
if he did all of these its hard to lose points... so a ref has to be bad to get less than 60

| If its up to the secretary to fill in the forms, i cant see how there would be any benefit for a different form for anyone else to use, the complaints procedure would have to be signed off by the sec anyway, otherwise how would he know what was going on, if he didnt fill the paperwork out. | |

| The secretary fills the forms in but that is only one persons opinion - plus there are a lot of secretary's who hardly if ever go to games - so how can they know what the ref was like? | |

| Would be interested to see how many refs get awarded the lowest possible mark that wouldn't trigger a report required from the club | |

| may be they should make the managers fill the forms in then, its got to be done by someone in authority, it cant just be done by any Thomas Dickass or Harry, that might be in a mardy mood that day. | |

| There is room at the bottom of the on-line Result Form for reasons why a ref has been marked 60 or less.
An email is acceptable but it should be sent to Stewart and Gordon.
The report should come from the club secretary, otherwise it may be difficult to act in some circumstances.
The main reason for the report is so that the Ref Sec can take it into account when making future appointments and can give advice to the ref as appropriate. All reports are read and the appropriate action taken.
"A mark between 91 and 100 should be regarded as excellent and between 71 and 80 would represent the standard expected." Club Secs should see Page 161 of the County FA Directory supplied as a CD.
