| Some important games tonight - please get the results on here.
There are, I believe 8 fixtures, after Fleckney Athletic Sunday v Countesthorpe Royals OB was postponed.

| What is happening with Countesthorpe, surely not going to drop out the league at this late stage and turn the league on its head. | |

Unfortunately we struggled today, we could only scrape 5 players together at a push, we've been decimated by injury to such an extent we couldn't field a team tonight and even last Sunday against Throops. It's a massive disappointment considering how far ahead we were in the league a few months ago and managed to even beat Prem Sports but we're going to do everything we can to finish the season and not fold before.

| hoskins 0 - 3 star & garter
deserved win for star & garter missed a few sitters too look a real good outfit defended well as a unit and were really good going forward jim mee and keiran linnet absolutely stood out. hoskins didnt play their game today for me too many aimless balls forward instead of getting it on the deck and playing like we all know they can ben wickins being their best player. well done to star looks like the league is urs to lose now. hoskins need to get back on the horse for the trinderbox game now and hope star slip up its possible

| div 5 - 4 teams still in with a shout of the title, and all playing their last games on Sunday, get the Sky cameras down. Think it's Saff Lounge's title now as they play bottom club EFC whilst Oadby have fellow contenders MDH. Birstall have Sparta Parva Res which is winnable but need other results to go their way | |

| Cant believe EFC are bottom, they have about 4 players who could easily play div 2 so should be much higher than they are, guess you have to get them there every week tho | |

| Good game last night, to be honest thought we we're going to get a good hiding as we we're missing a couple and couldn't get out of our own half for the 1st 20 minutes. We did go long as the pitch was dreadful and sometimes you've got to win ugly in big games. Jim was decent but for me the back 3 and keeper we're quality. Think we've kept 10 clean sheets in the last 11 league games!!!!!! |

| Having lost to Saffron Lounge Bar 2 – 0 on Wednesday evening, their manager, Tommy Gilroy, decided to e-mail my 19 year old son the following at 2.30 a.m. in the morning.
“make sure you tell your mates you are a liar after telling them you are the best footballing side in division 5 by far, and next time you say things like that make sure you have seen all the opposition because lets face it we destroyd you twice, your long ball game at your poor ground would never work against a team like us “ – Tommy Gilroy, April 28 at 2:34am
Not only did we have to contend with their supporters pissing on the goal post and throwing their empty beer bottles in the back of the net prior to the match, we have to put up with silly immature comments like the above from a manager who certainly looks old enough to know better. My message to him is GROW UP, ACT YOUR AGE and who knows, your players and supporters may show a little more respect and grace also. We are a young side who try to play good football, we don’t complain when things don’t work out or even when the league make us play such crucial matches as last night in mid-week when we do not have all our players due to work commitments. As for Saff being a better side than us, I would not swap a shoe lace from any of my players for one of theirs with the exception of Craig, their tall centre forward who worked endlessly trying to get on the end of high balls from a tiring midfield. Having watched Saffron play against MDH last Friday with some of my players we were surprised to see WARREN BUTLIN in goal for Saffron. Having such a poor defensive record you would have thought that they would have played such a good keeper as WARREN BUTLIN in every match - Just a thought !!!!!! Finally, I would like to thank the Alliance League committee and all the good honest teams such MDH, Spart Parva Res, CSKA, EFC, and many more we have played this season for making it an enjoyable first season for us.
