In 2005-2006, only 4 points separated the top four teams - the tightest finish for Division 1 in 33 seasons. Even the champions lost 18 points and only 2 were promoted to the Premier.
Last season was the 7th tightest finish out of 32 seasons.

I believe 2005/06 was the season I was at Wigston and we had the title rapped up and then went on a mega flop in the last 3 games.
