What is the policy with regards to cancelling games.

How much notice should a team give before cancelling a game without facing punishment?

Noticed a few teams have done it this year, perhaps through no fault of their own. But with the fixture backlog, teams may suffer later on in the season to get players for all the midweek games.

Teams are allowed to apply for one free date in the season. To apply for a free date, the club secretary must contact the Fixtures Secretary at least 3 weeks before the fixture book concerned is published.

A team postponing a game will lose up to 3 points and will be fined up to £50.
