Resignation - Western Athletic

I regret to advise you that Western Athletic have resigned with immediate effect.

Their playing recored will be removed from D2 and the table will be updated in due course.

All of the registered players will remain members of the club until the financial liabilities of the club have been discharged, either by the club or individually when the position is clarified.

They are not yet clear to register with or transfer to another Alliance Club.

such a shame to hear this hope all the players eventually find clubs and danny gets back into the alliance soon as hes done a great job there

Cheers greedy. Doubt il be back for a while though as the wallys are going into team golf as you only need 4 for that one.

great shame. only played them the once and Danny seemed like a sound bloke, and has always been a top class club sec. would imagine the players let him down which is what normally happens in cases like this

oh, and by that I mean SOME players - i.e the ones that didn't turn up?

Absolute shame.

One of the best guys I've come across in the Alliance.
