| It's gotta come down to how much we want to play, under the snow the ground isn't frozen, a team with brushes an hour or so before kick off could get a lot of these pitches playable but will they do it?! | |

Iv gotta disagree, with the ground undrerneath not frozen and rain forecasted for saturday I think there is a realistic possibility of some games at least getting played. When you think thyere are some teams in the league like us who have only played 6 games in the league we need to put every effort in to getting as many games played as we can else we'll be playing in july!!

When you think thyere are some teams in the league like us who have only played 6 games in the league we need to put every effort in to getting as many games played as we can else we'll be playing in july!! negative temps and rain don't mix! I hope I'm wrong but really can't see it, I would love to play this Sunday but it's not going to happen! As for brushing the pitches lol snow keeps the pitches warmer even in low temps but take a trip to football league grounds and look at the teams they have clearing snow, not 15 lads with wilko brushes! With many league one/two and even championship teams struggling to get games on I think we are dreaming! I really hope I'm wrong but will be suprised even if 1 game goes ahead this weekend .

SUNDAY FIXTURES
The County Association has decided against a 'blanket call-off' on Sunday's fixtures at present, although a decision will be made tomorrow morning around 10:00am.
This said, some local authorities have already called several pitches off and in those cases the fixtures are to be played in a weeks time.
Again, for those fixtures that are postponed on Sunday, the match officials will remain the same the following week.

It probably comes under Harborough District Council, but I am not sure who makes the decision there. James, or a forum member from one of the clubs who play there should know. At this momemt, I have no indication of how white the pitches are over there, but we have two Alliance games scheduled.

| SUNDAY COUNTY COMPETITION FIXTURES
Following a decent night in terms of the weather, the County FA has decided that matches that haven't already been called off by local authorities or owners will be subject to pitch inspections by the appointed (or local) referee on the day of the match.
For areas of the County still under significant snow at present a local referee MAY be called in today to get the pitch inspected and a decision reached.
If fixtures do go ahead, please inform your league of your result in your usual manner.
This decision has been made in order to alleviate any backlog in fixtures and assist leagues where possible over the coming weeks.
