as its our local ground and our saturday team has played a few of its home games there over the last couple of years, i would expect a few of the saff lounge bar boys to be there

as for the result on the night, i would guess that oadby have improved as the 2 sides that beat them in my opinion will not trouble the top half whereas i would say that the talbot will be up there and oadby beat them, so i would take a stab at 3-2 either way

we (talbot) played Oadby on a wednesday night with 10 players missing and no goal keeper. we where in the game for long periods of the game but the ref made some crucial mistakes. Far play to the oadby lads who are good at passing the ball and like to be physical so it will be a close affair 2-1 either way. Cannot wait for the rematch between oadby with a full stength side they will get there just deserts.

it looks like a 6 way affair this year with saff fav as they have won all 5 games so far. I went down to see both harrow and saff at the weekend both teams look good going forward but need some work at the back as at half time it ways 1-0 it should of been 3-3.(did not see second half) Cannot wait for the game against saff will be interesting. Saff, Mdh, harrow, talbot, oadby, sparta, will all be close games so as it stands the league have got Div 5 right its good to have teams who are on par with each other.

you say the saff are favs cus we have won all 5 but the fact is we have only beat 1 of your top 6, so how do you make us favs, your statement just doesnt sit right with me

you are proberly right but still you only can beat whats in front of you. you have had a good start to the league. i think you have a tricky match sunday against afc royal oak hope you give them a good game and beat them. The billy walton cup is a hard cup proberly the hardest cup so we have sporting wigstion Div 3 they said they will stuff us 7-1 dont think so we have only let in 4 all season and in preseason we beat sunbury and sparta parva so will not be that easy for them.

Im obviously hoping for a Sparta win but i also know it will probably be our toughest game this season so far. I reckon around 100 will turn up which will provide a good atmosphere plus theres nothing better than playing under the lights, excuse to not hoof the ball because u cant see the dam thing in the lights !!

Yeah the league have got Division 5 absolutely spot on this season!

good luck might pop down to see Sparta as we havent seen you this year yet but did Talbot play you in friendly was that your first team

Cracking atmosphere and a really good game to play in, two contrasting styles and Oadby must have been so good to watch, there two touch football was mesmirising at times. The oadby lads were top lads and I hope they do well this season, they deserve success with the way they play

Really enjoyed the evening, just not the cramp and only did 50 minutes !!!

well why have you named at least 8 of the same players on your website then, it certainly didnt look like you had 1o players missing, unless you named the same players cus you played players not signed on,

well just of the top of my head me, callum, rafa, disco, brad, mark harrison, elliot, wade and martyn shaw were all missing from that game. Now he never said we had 10 missing from the starting 11 but even though we are lucky to have a big squad, having that many players out is bound to affect us. To be honest though, no matter what the excuses, you can only beat what is in front of you and you did that deservedly so!
