I know its not technically what you were asking but i'd like to put our new strikers (will gonga) name forward. been very impressed with his all round game as well as scoring 7 in two games. as for opposition, I was quite impressed with azul zorros's number 11 (sorry don't know his name) watched him against us and qpr and gets stuck in well and is quite quick as well as having a decent throw on him!

We've played CSKA Carnabys and E FC so far.

E's number 14 in centre mid has probably impressed the most, tidy player. Their forward, Berto was tricky too.

most of the perrin team look dam good but the stand out player for me is reece kelly in goal still learning the postion but is gonna be top draw pretty soon

tom hill for western.

played his first league game on sunday and looked a cracking player setting up 1 and scoring 2 in a 5-4 win. would walk in to most alliance teams without a problem in my opinion. Just happy he decided to walk into ours!

Tom was good but still think Matty Garner is on his day by far the best around at what he does...

I have to nominate Oadby Atheletics left-back or reserve left-back this evening as i think this they had to rest him after last Sunday's game hence coming on from bench, absolutely awesome and he has a marvellous haircut that could only be improved on by growing himself a moustache. Which blonde hair lad, the small captain or the taller centre back?

I just want to put it out there, not making any excuses, but we are a university team and at the moment only have 4 or 5 of our normal players back. We knew we would get walked over the first few matches as we have to get stand ins, who are not really decent players, as we have no regular players back yet. But ask teams such as Harrow and Sparta Parva, who we played with our full squad in pre-season, once we have all our players back from summer holidays; which should be next weekend, we will start to hold our own, and dare I say, start to win.

Watch this space, no more thrashings for Oadby after this Sunday.

If you fancy letting them have one more week holiday mate that would be great....we have you in the cup!!

Rob Bell, who is unfortunately leaving us for Uni in 2 weeks has been incredible.

Haha Sorry I've had enough of been thrashed. Hopefully after this Sunday's game when everyone's back we can start to gain some pride back and prove we are up to this leagues standard. Just a bit hard when we only have 4 of our normal squad.

Rob Bell is easily one of the best players to have graced the Sparta Parva shirt, awesome player he scored 21 from left wing in his first season when he was just 16 !! Cleaned all the end of season awards last season too!
