Team of the Month for October

This was the tightest vote since we started this award.
3 teams tied and so we had to have a second round of voting and the winners were:-

Magna Town 2008
They won all 4 of their games with 26 goals scored and only 4 conceded.

Have to say i still think West End Ressies have improved a lot more than Magna looking at last seasons tables and results.

The dreaded team of the month bogey happened today though, Magna lost.

Not really a bogey losing to a team that is top and has won every game this season (bar 1 draw)

Thanks to everyone! Declan you right no disgrace to losing to your lot. Was a bit surprised to win but thanks to everyone who voted. Pity we couldnt keep the run going!

well wat a surprise we werent in the running, were hated by everyteam going and everyone just abt at the alliance league head quarters, well done to magna though

Ive heard Great Wigston have turned things around off the pitch, getting rid of the idiots who spoilt things from the sidelines in previous seasons with language that shouldnt be heard in an 18 movie, and they paid off all their debts and recruited quality players. No more punch ups either ala the swifts battle in the 5 a side (someone had guts to confront Mr Wheeler!)
