| I have received notice this evening that St Marks have resigned with immediate effect with just 3 games remaining and stiill in with a chance of the D1 title. I will have to expunge their playing record and restate the D1 table Frustrated - you bet It just makes a complete mockery and farce of the title run in

| Do teams state a reason why? Seems odd and a real shame with just three games left.
Enjoyed three games with them including a semi-final in a storm to end all storms. Sorry to hear this news.

| Cheers Gordon. Seems an odd one. You'd imagine commitment was decent for much of the season to get results that they've got. A complete headache for the club and the teams who've played them for apparently no reason though. Always a shame. | |

| Think I'm right in saying that this wraps up the season in Division 1, massive shame as it looked an exciting finish was to come with St. Marks playing Foxes and Willowbrook and all in with a chance of taking the title. | |

| Im sure Tom didnt want to wrap it up but when you have lads not even texting him to say if they are coming or not and him not knowing if he has 11 players every week on top of his own personal problems i can completely understand why hes decided not to bother anymore and im sure if he knew it would end up like this at the start of the season he wouldnt have carried on this season, it is a shame but unfortunately thats sunday league football for ya | |

| Spare a thought for North Kilworth who've battled through to the end of a very tough season only to have their 1 victory taken away from them. I've spoken to one of the St. Marks players today who didn't even know they were folding and still doesn't know why!! Bizarre. | |

The resignation notice which cited the reasons for withdrawal came from the Club Chairman
