Team of the month Jan/Feb

Will these two months be merged together due to the lack of fixtures because of the weather? Who deserves to be nominated/win?

Wigston Fields. Definitely deserved.

We have had a good month and 4 wins with 3 clean sheets but who knows. Depends what other teams have done.

surly us thurmo res have to be in with a shout 5 wins on the spin including thumping royal oak,,,doubt we will even get a mention tho

Not Wigston fields

After the year we had this year wiv trying play 1st team fixtures aswell 2 stop one of the teams folding and disrupting the leagues wld b a nice reward

Frolesworth

The normal criteria is unbeaten in all competitions for the whole period, so if Jan and Feb are merged it would be the last 8 weeks

I suspect it would also need to include a minimum number of games

We are unbeaten for the last 8 weeks, 7 weeks no game and an 8-0 win on Sunday

Frolesworth then Pete!! They've won all their games in last two months and have played a few (?) in that time. And won well on most occasions

Agree Mr Partridge they would be my shout but would have to see who else was on the list

There gonna win the rest of the other competitions there in apart from prob bw so y not let them win this aswell

Wigston Fields for me, it would be good to see a Div 7 team win it.

On reflection and a quick glance (bored at work)

Frolesworth played 2 won 2
Wigston Fields played 4 won 4

There will be others but I would go for Wigston Fields over Frolesworth now I know this

there are a few teams who have played 3 and won 3 eg phoenix,wigston united and frolesworth
but only 2 that have played 4 and won
so for me it's between thurmo res and wigston fields

We have lost one in the bw against niffy who r 2 divs higher we took 2 extra time and battered 4 120 mins how we lost it i dnt know

Wigston fields done well to be fair but the games they won wasnt against the strongest teams in there league

You have to beat what is in front of you. Scored 22 conceded 2!!

Great News we are still in with a shout

... Pukka def deserve a shout after the start they had to the season .... no wins in first 6 games then to go on a run of 5 wins and 1 loss, shows top team spirit !! .... (only thing not sure of is if the wins fall into the right period of time for jan/feb)
but in fairness i not strong on other leagues apart from the one were in, div 6.

Pukka have played 3 won 3 during the time so they will be in with a shout if they keep the run up

So Thurmo could miss out as only 2 games left to poss be 7 out of 7, others could sneak 8 out of 8.

I don't think it matters whether you've won 7 or 8, you've still gone on a great run. There are other things that come into it.

we had a great month never lost a game and didn't even concede a single goal,

so no contest
