| There seems to be a lot of byes unless the draw isn't complete yet. Seems to be only 7 teams from division 7 in the first round of the vase | |

and they are 3rd in div 1 of the newark sunday alliance we played them last season, won 3-0 i think. they were a pretty compact team and i think hit North Kilwoth for double figures in the previous round so i wouldnt under estimate them, if you give them chances they'll punish you but i vagualy remember a couple of our goals involving hitting them on the break and even i managed to out pace the back line so use that if you can.

| How come a Division 1 side is in the Trophy any how ? seems a bit much facing Division 5 & 6 sides from our league.
Good luck Pochin, hope you can turn them over.
Ps, thanks for the info on yourselves too with the pacey forward line ;-)

| thanks malc they only have 3 divisions in the newark alliance so i suppose that's the reason. oh by the way we have no midfield a back four who can't head it and a dodgy keeper if that helps | |

| I'm surprised they dropped down a cup to be honest, as i said they beat both Kilworth and Trinity Foxes comfortably from our Div 2 last season | |

| I'm probably completely missing the point but why is a team that chooses to play in a Notts league allowed to enter for a Leicestershire FA competition in the 1st place? | |

Ps, thanks for the info on yourselves too with the pacey forward line ;-) They played in the Vase a few years ago when they were also in Div 1 as we lost to them 2-1, we were the then Harrow of Div 5 so a major difference in standards

Why are Welsh teams allowed in the 'English' Premier League

| Very helpful reply Paul!!
Though I believe you're missing my point young man - picking your example, Welsh teams who choose to partake in the English Premier League also then partake in the English FA Cup so that's fair enough.
However, this is a team that has entered a county cup competition which bares no resemblance to the county league in which they play - like I say I might be missing the point though..

| Think we all should apply for their respective county cups next season if it's an open house, especially our higher Division teams who look like they they don't have many games every year.
I'm certain our teams could go win their county cups and eventually will put a stop to them joining ours.

Then there's an English team playing in the Scottish League
