| Ours!!
Semi Final venue, secure changing rooms, each team can lock own doors (very important), hot showers (a luxury compared to some!), a bar and most importantly as the home team....the pitches (both) are preapred in advance by the Huncote staff, corner flags, nets and they even roll the pitch in bad weather to ensure that as many games are played as possible!!

Can get very boggy, an also a bit of a hill!! I believe our ground of Mossdale Meadows is one of the best, I've played there for 12 years for Kingsway, and now as manager of AC Wigston, only ever seen two games called of due to weather, secure changing rooms, showers, home team have there own showers , Tuck shop serving sweets, soup, hot drinks, bacon and sausage cobs with tomatoes or mushrooms. Result!!

Have to say it was a good ground to play the semi final on. Only problem is the barriers on the oppposite side to the dug outs are fairly close to the pitch which makes some throw ins difficult. The pigeon shooting next door was a bit of a pain!!!!

Must admit Uplands is nice pitch, but I agree with the above, LM United and AC Wigston have quality pitches that are well maintained, big, fairly flat!! Ideal for knocking the ball around on

| Was Thurnby United's at Colthurst Way in Thurnby Lodge on top of the hill. Flat and wide. Looked good the other day when I saw a Saturday side on there | |

| Obviously biased as I've been playing there for over 11 years, but the Accies ground is by far the pitch in the league, better than a lot of Saturday pitches. Doesn't have the luxury of clubhouse sadly, but footballing wise, the pitch is awesome. Anyone on here from Trinity OB, Frolesworth, or Hurricanes, who have all played on it this season, would agree it's amazing at the moment. We call it home disadvantage, as teams turn up and play better than they normally would on their council pitches.
As for other top grounds, obviously Holmes Park is quality, but that goes without saying. On a Saturday, for anyone who's played at Medbourne in the Northants League, good facilities there. Clubhouse selling food and ales, and a pretty good pitch. Nice setup.

| Although they're much better pitches than Horsewell Lane, Horsewell is so close to all of us and served us well so as the price isn't much different, I reckon we will stay put! Cheers though Widds. | |

| Yeah very cheap, and the facilities are really good as well. Not sure what pitches people say are boggy, but i dont think we have had a game called off for weather in two years there.....was in great nick this year | |

| Agreed, in 4 years up there we've not have a game called off , added bonus of never losing a ball either as there are no houses backing onto our pitch, although it can be a pain fetching them if your a keeper on our pitch!! | |
