| Thurmaston 2011 3 - 5 Wigston Rangers
A good game for the neutral with the lead changing hands 3 times, from 3-2 down we came back in the last 20 minutes to clinch it. Ring rust was apparent, but I am very pleased with the performance. Would like to thank Ian at Thurmaston and the league for arranging this game. Also Michael Peck scored an unbelievable overhead kick from the edge of the box. Best of luck to Thurmaston for the future.
WRFC Scorers: Michael Peck 4 Dan Mitchell

| Good game today, some good football from both sides. Thurmaston need to be more physical still and we must take our chances, it's cost us to many games lately. Signing some older players for next season so should make a big difference, cheers for game dan and thought ref today, Martin dexter was very good. Cheers alliance league for sorting game out. | |

| Huncote 2-1 Webbys
Webbys went one nil up after an error in the huncote defence.
We recovered and got one back through makeshift striker and skipper Russell Smith whos overhead kick found the bottom corner.
Stix finished the scoring with a solid finish to give us the win, the ex-webbys player was so delighted he is still talking about it now!!!! He was subbed before the game kicked off again as we knew it was not going to get any better
Great run out and just want we needed ahead of Thursday, thanks to Oily, Mary and the boys and a massive thabks to Snowy and co down the trumpet for the hospitality
Bring on Thursday and BELIEVE

| Just a bit more on our match.
We turned up with a bare 11 after a couple dropped out late with injuries and 1 with pre-exam stress lol
We picked up where we left off last game vs Pollards and started strongly going into a quick 2-0 lead. We relaxed and Dukla managed to get a quick goal back - sloppy defending on our part. But after that we responded and some fluid attacking play could have led to more goals. Dukla had chances as well and this could have been 8-3/4 in all honesty but a very good performance from our lads and we will see how we fare next week against QPR.
Also, credit to Dukla, great bunch of lads who attempted to play footy at times but perhaps lack a spark or a couple of players who can turn a game.

| White Eagles 6-4 QPR
A very comfortable game for us. A mad first half in which we dominated with fluent passing and attacks led to us going into the break 5-2 up. Second half, the manager tried a few things by playing a centre back up front and a striker at the back. QPR attacked more but we soaked them up well, with us at times walking the ball around the pitch due to heat. We then made it 6-2 with about 5 minutes to go before our boys relaxed and allowed QPR two sloppy goals.
