Fixtures - Sunday 12th February 2012

The updated fixtures for this coming Sunday (12th Feb) are now on the website;

There are lots of changes. Please can everybody check the fixtures. Some teams that didn't have a game now HAVE a game and some that did now haven't!!

I am trying to get games for as many teams as possible and not including the free date clubs next Sunday only 5 teams do not have a game scheduled!

If there are any glaring issues or problems please contact me ASAP.

Also because of the bad weather and getting cup games in etc the next few weeks fixtures will be done on a weekly basis. there is no point printing a fixture booklet that is out of date by the time it's even printed. This means ALL teams need to remain available! I will get the next weeks fixtures posted to the website as soon as is possible! Bear with me and when we get a few more games played normal service with the fixture booklet will be resumed.

We have been notified that Leicester City Council and Oadby and Wigston Borough Council have postponed all games within their area of responsibility.

James will be in contact with the home clubs concerned to confirm.

We are also aware that all County Competition Semi Finals have been postponed

Any initial idea as to when the Semis are to be played? Will it be a fortnight like last week's postponements?

The Semi Finals for Sunday County Competitions are all scheduled for Sunday 19 February, with the exception of Throops v Star & Garter which is on 26 February as Throops have a free date on the 19th.

The Semi Finals for Saturday County Competitions are all on Saturday 25 February.

The clues to your answer are in Gordons statement above, basically if your fixture is either a county cup game or the pitch is Leicester council owned or Oadby/wigston owned then you can stay in bed this week

Very much doubt it will be on, been informed there is still snow on it, going up there in about half hour to look for myself, will let you know later mate.

These are are games which are still ON (or we have not been informed of the postponement)

If a game is not listed it is postponed.

If you know different, please let me know and I will update the list.

Don't even think about going against a Council's decision. We had an example of that a few seasons back - with consequences

Can Superfly vs Phoenix be clairfied, I also am led to believe it is still on until an early morning pitch inspection.

The situation will be determined in the next 30 minutes - when the Superfly Secretary returns from the pitch.
