Cheers Hellboy. Enjoyed the game today. Went 4-0 up and won 5-4 in the end. I would rather talk about my saves than the clanger! Trick for daz Bailey and two for Dave ilnicki. We looked class for forty and magna looked rusty but we were class. They showed later in the game why they deserve to be up there. Good character to come back

new road 4-0 up after 40 mins but let in 2 sloppy goals just before half time .. credit to magna gave us a game second half but we managed to hold on.

start slow think 5 weeks with no game was at fault fot both team we went into the break 2-0 to the good E never really cause to mant problems in the first half . Stright from kick talbot made it 3 then 4 wiith ten to go E.FC started to cause us a few problem but in the end ref gave E a pen even ther player said it was not but ref gave it and the E captain put it in top corner just like to say E.fc are a great bunch of lads and hopefully will started taking point from a few of our rivals

Hood Park 2-4 Niffy

Great game to watch and be involved in. Went 3-0 down and got it back to 3-2, then a suspect decision to not award a goal for us denied the draw. Not faulting the ref, it happens.

Really good set of lads we've got now at HPR, think Niffy lads will agree that Tom on the wing will cause teams BIG problems in div 6. Shame he was a bit under the weather today with an absess.

Oady Owls 4 - 1 Sparta Parva Res

Oadby are a very good side who should be on their way up the divisions before we know it. They play the ball around really well and don't mind getting stuck in.

They stormed into a 4-0 lead and we never looked like getting back into it after that. A spirited second half meant we left the pitch with something to cheer about, grabbing a consolation goal.

In truth, Oadby wasted several sitters so the score could have been 7/8/9 on another day.

Sparta's goal was a decent finish tho

Ac Wigston 5-1 Humbo Legends

strange game today, humbo went down to 10 men after thier keeper collided with out striker and bust his lip open. took us a while to get started but after an inspirational goal of the season contender from Daniel Blackshaw it was straight forward from there.

fair play to the humbo lads they kept going, but after letting it slip at their place last time we ground out and stood firm.

special mention to the referee today, top bloke and handled the game brilliantly.

Were off the bottom, looks like my new year wish came true and the faith in referees has been restored.

Onwards and upwards from now on!

Another great result today for us new road lads two great well earned and deserved wins in two weeks puts us back up there in contention,bit dissapointed to have gone 4-0 up and to only win 5-4 but then magna showed why there top of the table and gave us a scare just hope we go onto bigger n better things throughout the remainder of the seaaon.

agree with daz, first 40 mins we were awesome... there back four couldnt handle daz and dave upfront. a wins a win and hope we carry on as we are looking like a very good side at present

what a great game to watch today thought we were outstanding, passed and moved the ball really well they couldnt live with us and apart from 2 own goals and a back pass that i thought was dubious never really threatened our goal we missed a few chances aswell and on another day might have been double figures think they had a full squad out with pallet and parry both playing and we deserved the 3 points and shouldnt be any arguements or disagreements from the glenny lads.
just like to say what a good bunch of lads glenfield are and thouroughly enjoyed the game look forward to seeing u boys at our place all the best

Yeah was a good game to be involved in and it all looked a bit easy as we raced into a 3-0 lead thanks to some quality finishing from Jay Smith, who got his trick as quick as 30 minutes into the game.
We then seemed to take our foot off the pedal and got a little sloppy, on top of that HPR seemed to play with more freedom and determination as they got 2 goals back.
I didn't see the incident you mentioned but the boys involved tell me that it didn't go over the line - but hey they're my players and would expect that - but I've seen em given both ways so guess you get them sometimes. It wasn't too long after that we killed off the game with Luke Johnson scoring our forth.

Your right on that winger - looks very tasty and could cause some real issues, think Botty looked a bit dis-interested today which was a shame as he's great when he's up for it!!

Started slowly all the postenponed games telled as looked sloppy from start and went one nil down could have been more. then went three one up without playing well. lk got penalty at three one but missed which seemed to spur us on and went ahead nine 0ne, started pissing about with our team putting centre backs up front and paid price when lk scored again. If playing niffy npe or kibworth would have got stuffed today sure we will have a lot haerder time next week against the new hpr

But your win may not count anyway if the rumour i here going round is correct and its nothing to do with Wigston !!!!!!!

Not a bad game today once West End got going. Could of played you lads all day and we would of never scored, we had plenty of chances but some poor finishing and 2 cock ups gave you your two goals.

here it was a tight game today coleman well done for coming from behind and grinding out the win mark told me u just deserved it in the end

agree looked a real quality outfit when we played u think advance and scrappy will know they been in a game when u boys play them. ur probably the team to beat at the moment mate and id say the best team we've played so far this season. fair play and good luck for future games but if u can leave a few at home when u come to our place would be very much appreciated

One word 'outplayed' and in all areas, they wanted it far more, scoreline maybe a bit harsh on us, would say 3 of the goals were assists by us.

Cheers mate much appreciated and a big compliment considering uve played all the big boys, great result 4 u 2day aswell glenny ain't no mugs that's 4 sure although I did fancy u 2 win and still reckon u will finish 4th, as 4 leaving some at home lol we will need our best team mate can't go getting complacent u boys are a good outfit and we might be playing well at the min but it can soon change, all the best neway geez
