Just looked on the county fa website and were booked down for our game
on 24th instead of 31st.
Any reason?

Yes we have requested a free week on the 31st so they have brought it forward.

fc hoskins we have drawn melton rovers away . melton rovers are in the melton premier and last year won the league, 2nd was real ale madrid who wer in sunday prem cup prem sports beat them last week
what a ***** joke win the prem div and get put in lower cup come 2nd in prem and in prem cup jokeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Poplar have a core of Shelthorpe Lions players from last season, and they were in the Charnwood Prem before they folded.

It is a County Competition!!!

For information, the Melton League has 13 teams with 6 teams in a "Premier" Division and 7 in a "second" division.

They also have a division for all 13 teams!

Melton Rovers are currently 3rd out of 6 in the so-called Prem.

There are 5 County Competitions - exactly how do you divide them up based on last season's performance?

For information 2 of the 13 teams were placed in the Premier Cup and there are 2 or 32 others in each of the other competitions.

we've played them twice in the county cup and once in the carlsberg cup over the last 3 seasons. First 2 games we lost both 3-1 but ironically both times had much more chances but couldn't score them. Last year we got stuffed 7-1 but we were on the long downward spiral at the time. They are strong going forward and do like to pass it around in midfield. Basically, if you can get in behind their back 4 and put your chances away you'll have a great chance as their defence is the weakest part of their team

anyone got any info on peacocks i see they knocked out superfly on pens last round so any news on what they are like to play against and how there form is at the mo hopefully we (desford) can get a result and progress if we get a full squad not had one all season really and been a bit of a bity start to it all not been playing everyweek really does not help.

well as your aware we struggled to get a side to play your lot on the wed night 1 st game of season then as we have got 13 teams in our league we had no fixture the week later which i am told all teams will have a free week at some stage then also we should have played a county cup game which was not played due to team folding from melton league which was not sorted out with both leagues getting mixed up from lack of communication we should have played good old days but the league had us to re play cup game so not been a good start for us bit poor to be honest no regular games hopefully from now until the bad weather comes should be alright see your lot have had a good start look forward to playing to see what all the talk is about hopefully be a good game

Anyone know anything about FC Brittania we have got them next week in the county cup?

A number of teams (none from the Alliance) have been removed from County Competitions for playing suspended players.

As a consequence Little Bowden have been reinstated to the Sunday Vase and are away to Oakthorpe Athletic Reserves in Round 2 on Sunday.
