2nd half we lost our shape 4 20 mins second half niffy never really cause to many problem should had at least 3 goals 2nd half over all looking forward to the new season now little bowen next week then the wheel 1st league game thanks to niffy 4 the game ur no 14 is a mardy arse

Sporting Highcross 7 - New Road Inn 3

First half we got a lesson after we have thumped a few teams, was good to get that wake up call. 4-0. And i have to hold my hands up, two absolute howlers on my part to concede.
Second half we came back strongly and showed some good spirit, Sporting got a penno that shouldnt have been (their guy handballed before i took him out - yeah admittedly i fouled, but after first offence lol!!)
Really pleased with the way we kept plugging away, Highcross are a class outfit though, one of their strikers (looks a bit like Craig Bellamy) scored a belting volley, and as a team i was well impressed by their physicalness (in a fair way) as they were faster, fitter and stronger than any other teams we have played. I believe they are in the prem, and i think they will comfortably finish in the top 5 (based on my limited experience of the Alliance Prem). Enjoyed the game today, cheers lads.

A very tight affair between the two Div5 sides this morning.
Oadby Owls got a lot of young talent and knock the ball around nicely.
CSKA Carnabys had the better chances to win the game in the second half, but a good encounter none-the-less.

Great result for our boys today off the back of some tough results against the likes of Braunstone Town from LSL and Leicester Foxes OB. Played possibly our strongest 11 from the outset and took a little while to settle in but once we got going we were excellent. Credit to Horse was their first game together with some new players in the set up, they kept going til the end and never gave up, were unlucky hitting the post and testing our keeper on a couple of occasions. Sets us up nicely for the league opener on the 3rd.

Had 9 men today, had to bring in 2 lads who didnt know any one, fair play to Polska who looked like a good team who knocked ball around, there tall striker should cause teams some problems.

yes the lad admitted he was offside!!! they moaned about every offside and foul in the game to be fair!!! i thought they passed it around quite well but the only dangerous players were the strikers
