Puzzling game today, we kept the ball well at times and spent a lot of time on the edge of their box. Really struggled to take our chances and their keeper had a good game. Plenty of praise for Spinney Hill, they were determined and played excellently on the counter, not sure how this was only their second win of the season.

WPR 2 Star and Garter 5. I don't normally do a write up, but considering we played the much feared Star and Garter, Our outstanding keeper saved a peno after 10 mins. The star went 1 up and then through a wonder goal we pulled it back, they went 2-1 and 3-1 up at half time. As the beginning of the second started, the Star already full of top draw players brought on ex Leicester player Levi Porter! (Great) but we pulled it back to 3-2 and we caused them no end of problems we gave them a blood good go! 3-2 down with 8 mins to play, Ryan Simmonds, hit the bar, with the keeper also getting a touch. as WPR went for the unexpected, but chucking players forward left us venerable at the back with the Star gaining two late goals. the score doesn't reflect the game! a massive credit to my players who played with passion and pride! on to the final games of the season. Good luck Star, you have some "players"
