Played The Alliance twice in friendlies last pre season, not a bad side but I would say Div 6 or 7 for them.

| Sileby Athletic - moving from Charnwood Sunday League but restructuring Union Inn - run by a few of the original GW Throop team Lutterworth Club - a completely new side Cossington Royal Oak - moving from Charnwood Sunday League Div 4 The Alliance - moving from Leicester Sunday League Club - New team, a mixture of players from existing saturday teams but not necessarily a high standard. Leicestershire Constabulary - moving from Charnwood Sunday League Barcabullona - Existing Club from Hinckley League Swinford Chequers - New team based near Lutterworth. a mix of old and young. Tomlin Allstars - sponsored by Lee Tomlin, well funded

I wouldn't go that far, from what I have seen, they have more than one recent County Cup winner in their ranks ready to sign on once the season kicks off...and we aren't talking level 5 County Cups either. The Braders (District Prem 4th 13/14) gaffer is in there with them, bet he ain't coming alone ;-)

The Braders (District Prem 4th 13/14) gaffer is in there with them, bet he ain't coming alone ;-) Wrong. So the CLUB team that played Tomlin yesterday wasn't made up (at least one scored and another was MOM according to their web stuff!) with County Champion players then during your, sorry, I meant their 4 - 4 draw??? (I am aware that the 'key' players will disappear for a couple of weeks to justify Div 3 but will reappear shortly after the league starts! see below)
Some on here know more than you think young man! Drawing against Tomlin (who many believe will challenge S&G IN THE PREM) shows the quality that these boys have in their possession...Division 3 for Club FC... they are laughing at ya A.L.... ...the core of this team are defo Prem standard and are a PRIME example of a pot hunting set up as they attempt to pull the wool over the league's eyes by signing no-one then wham...hit them with quality orange forms AFTER the league has started! Be warned though... I can and will name names if the league request it!

| No disrespect to club we were 4-1 up and had at least 4 first team players away there better than div 3 and would possibly do well in div 1 not sure about the prem tho good bunch of lads that possibly wanted it bit more than we did | |

| Still learning about this league all the time but I reffed the game between Tomlin and Club yesterday. Club were 4-1 down at one point and Tomlin were missing 4 or 5 of their first 11 according to their manager.
Was a gutsy performance by Club to draw level but they could have easily ended up losing had Tomlin taken more of their chances. Would have been interesting to see how they had faired against a "full strength" Tomlin side.
That said, compared to the Div 3 teams I saw last season Club would be a tough match up for any of them.
