Quite a heavy pitch to start with but held up surprisingly well. Excellent team performance by the boys and the best we've played all season. Showed just what we could do. Played some nice neat football and that showed in the opening goal after a near bit of interchange Steve toone was released down the left wing to fire in the cross for Luke Allen to convert at the second attempt. Shortly after it was 2 when Steve toone played an excellent through ball to debutant Keith Edgar who fired in right footed. Fields held on to the 2-0 until half time and Bowden didn't really threaten. Into the second half and Wigston penned Bowden in their own half and pressed high to keep the pressure on. Fields could have extended their lead but couldn't convert the chances that came their way. It wasn't until Ed Titley entered the fray and showed his composure to cross for Stef Kuzyk to score and the second time of asking to kill the game off. Then the goals started to flow when James field was released down the left wing to cross to mark Allen who side footed home off the past. Stef doubled his tally again when ed wormed his way through the defence showing neat footwork to square for Stef to drill home. The icing on the cake came towards the end when a neatly worked corner was crossed in for dave Swanson to flick towards goal and poacher jack Dunmore fire in from close range. A good day at the office and a well earned victory.

Find it hard to take being knocked out the county cup twice in the same season, played very poor, Countesthorpe well worth their win and all the best in the semi final.

went to watch this one and was a entertaining game tbf lol one sending off that shouldnt n one that should lol   

which was the one that should have been but wasnt,,the sending off that happened was correct two yellows after being told to be careful after getting first caution
