County Cup Draw Live

Anybody no anything about The Plough Thorpe Acre ?? We no they play in the charnwood league but there league form seems very hit and miss !!

They are the best team we have played this season!

Dont be fooled by their league form (we were!). think they may have a 'cup' team. Either that or the Charnwood have a very very strong division 2!

Weak points- their keeper- short and very dodgy from crosses. Can get on each others back- especially with quite a vocal side line!

Strength- they are a very big side. Dominate powerful centre midfielder who likes to dribble with the ball- a lot! Everything went through him. Two big pacey centre forwards that caused us a lot of problems. Played a pretty conventional 4-4-2 but all 10 outfield players were very comfortable on the ball. Looked to play some neat football but also looked for that direct ball over the top.

Good set of lads- we got it back to 1-1 but always felt they had another gear if required. Beatable depending on the team that turns up but a very capable side

my pick to win this cup was snarestone globe who I know are a very good side
and plough beat them in the last round so I think they may have a cup team!

Best team in our division- and 100% stand by that

wigston car breakers oh sorry i mean lks shouldnt worry about anybody with the quality of players they have but depends if the monsell lads all turn up (the superstars)!!! but good luck to all involved in the semi final!!!!

The recent trend has been to play County Semi Finals on the ground of the first named club.

Pitch availability, fixture disruption, potential additional costs of neutral pitch hire, supervision of the games, etc etc

  liking the Mutual comment, is this where the 2 managers throw a number of grounds at each other until they reach agreement, not a bad shout

We knocked them out last year. Pretty big, physical side who can mix it up a bit. Not a bad side at all but seemed pretty dodgy at the back from what I remember. Paulo's pretty spot on with his assessment. Good luck.
