| Another cock up this year by the league. Playing the final on a bank holiday friday when players from both sides will have games in the afternoon. Always going on about leading the way, maybe they should think a bit harder next time. And by the way Lutterworth town is not fit to host night games, there's more light from candle sticks than there lights! | |

| First of all, the League, not the clubs, paid for Lutterworth's ground and we have complained to them about the very poor lighting - we did not get what we paid for.
Your earlier post about using Oadby Town was noted. It was unfortunate that Oadby had to cancel our booking for the Walton semi at short notice because of a last minute home game arranged for their own club. As a result the game was switched to Lutterworth.
As far as Good Friday is concerned. We play a final at Holmes Park, almost every Good Friday and the attendance benefits. There are clearly no alternative dates at Holmes Park(32 County Finals and numerous other games).
We could have tried to find a different pitch on the only other Friday available but of course that would have clashed with the Sunday Premier Cup Final or one of our other finals.
Your constructive comments are always welcome and noted.

What do you mean 'players from both sides will have games in the afternoon?' Is this a reference to Saturday football? If it isn't I really don't understand the posting?

If it isn't I really don't understand the posting? not really only say maybe 2 or 3 players may have game friday afternoon i know reece lester plays for lbro dymn they play ,,,, there no fixtures in senior league no fixtures in midland alliance untill saturday so think this post is bit off disrespect to the league who do a fantastuic job running this league,,, think most off advance and garage players will be playing tuesday night tho!!!

Hey up Pot Hunter why dont you get your facts right, very few of the players will be playing friday if any,Alliance Finals are great friday nights usually perhaps you could come down to one and see for yourself instead of sitting at home listening to your Barry Manilow records, without any doubt the Alliance League is leading the way in Sunday and Local football

| Possibly Advance may have too much for them, but they will need to stop Jake Limbert and with him in their side, Scrappy may have the firepower to come out on top. Bascially whoever has the strongest defence on the night will win because both sides are top notch going forward | |

glenfield town he's with and against scrappy 3-1 defeats home and away. Lost against advance, away 7-0 home 7-1 and 3-1 in the billy walton semi. Adding to that its there first season in the prem and with teams dropping out for what ever reason, points taken off them for the wins against some of the teams that dropped out all in all a very good season for them. Both scrappy and advance have very strong squads that move the ball around very well and its all down to on the day ( who wants it more)

| If it's down to who wants it more then you might as well give the trophy to advance now, if the last few finals between these two teams is anything to go by | |

| yes lost 3-1 in both games against these 2 sides and against advance equalised with 20 minutes to go and had a chance straight after to take the lead, but going in to the latter stages there squad just had to much for us and on a whole just had that bit more quality, but if any team can match them in all departments it's scrappy, depending on who they bring in it's an hard one to call i've edged towards scrappy jermaine gordon was the difference between us sunday you have to work your b******s against sides like these just to stay in the game, but looking forward to this.players to watch for advance got to be reece lester, ash harris, and wheeler.scrappy.jermaine,AJ if he plays and limbert. | |
