Absolute Farce! (MDH vs Birstall – POSTPONED)

What a joke, turned up at Lutterworth Soccer Centre this morning and there were 8 teams ready to play, the only problem being there is only 3 pitches there!

We now have 11 games to play in April! Our players were not happy, it’s not exactly round the corner for most of them.

50 mile round trip for me Ben, plus 1 lad from Derby and 1 who drove down from Huddersfield! I am sure the league will reimburse us.

You didn't mention that we had to get changed too, wait til 10.40 then someone tossed a coin to see who could play!

Why don't we just do paper, scissors, stone for the remaining fixtures.

Sincere apologies from the League and we are investigating the cause.

Our liaison with the Hinckley Sunday League who also use these facilities is usually very close and these pitch clashes rarely happen.

Anyone who travels from either Huddersfield or derby to play Sunday Football needs their heads looking at!!

Thanks for the apology but I don't actually think it was the leagues fault (apart from the league picking Lutterworth as a semi final venue!).

I'm sure most of the blame sticks with the centre as they must have know there were 4 games booked in to play?

Still fuming that's it's added to our fixture headache!
