| Had same issue in pre-season friendly against hotshots, think mark ended up reffing the game in a T-shirt!! Although I think black kits should be allowed! Teams have to have a home and away kits so why shouldn't a ref haha | |

| laws of the game
The players must wear colours that distinguish themselves from opposition and referee and assistants
FA rules referees should wear all black kit or black with a white trim.. only league referees can wear different coloured shirts...
Alliance league rules teams shall not wear black or dark coloured kit....
hotshots played in green and white hoops last week on pitch at side of me....

| been asked to post on this as our manager isnt able to get online..
He said he went to the league before ordering our kit with a photo of it, and it was approved by the league.
He said if the league are changing their mind then on the decision then an identical kit should be provided in different colours, hardly our fault the minds have changed? Funds to replace it are simply not available.
Again this is a message from our manager so your replys wont be taken on board by me!
before people say rules are rules etc, then why was it originally approved?

| What's all the fuss about anyway! To be honest we had no issue with it when we played thewm, they are distinguished from the ref because if I remember rightly there's a big bloody green stripe on it, plus the numbers on the back help you work it out a bit haha I'd quite like a black kit, ala mean machine | |

It has nothing to do with the league, The Referee is in charge of the game not the League, the laws of the game state that team colours must be different from the match officials so if the Ref says change the kit or i'm not allowing the game to go ahead he would be in his right to do so, Hotshots are fools for getting a black kit and if the league allowed it they are just as bad, simple

| GT also played in all black, with yellow trim at Dunley Way earlier this season.
The referee ended up wearing one of our royal blue training tops.

| Black Kits are class as well. We wanted one a few seasons back but MDH said we weren't allowed.
On the subject of kits, why do some teams have god awful kits? Who picks them? I personally think our kit is class, I like S & G's, Frolesworth, Moshdocks, they've all got a bit of imagination to them and look smart.
Who has the worst kit in the league? I personally think GT's all purple kit is woeful.

| We only got a pink kit when we first started to save having to buy a 2nd kit! Obviously now we are into our 3rd season we have invested in a new kit but first game this season we clashed with trinderbox and had to dig out the pink kit! Always funny looking at the opposition after they lost to a team in pink ;-) | |

| pink was the original colour of boys in victorian times, girls always wore blue, pink was selected for boys, as it is a lighter shade of red, and red was wore by men as a colour of strength, but even if reem team did wear pink, they would still look like a load of pansies, they're far too camp to get away with it.... | |
