| Hi, this may sound like an odd question but here goes... If a goalkeeper has problems kicking due to injury or just poor technique are they permitted to use a kicking tee or other device to help them get the correct contact on goal kicks etc? | |

| there is nothing in law to say no,,,but nothing in law to allow it as everything on pitch has to be safe and items allowed are listed and where they should be ,,,,,the tee would have to removed immediately after the kick as it could prove dangerous to other players,,,so my answer would be no | |

This is a very interesting question actually. So there is actually no rule that makes it illegal? Do you think there could be a possibility that some referees may allow it?

| if the kicks a good 1 and the tee has enough time to be removed are you saying there will be no rule to say yes or no either way? I may ask our ref on Sunday what he thinks on the matter...

| i know of no actual law to ban it,,,but doubt it would be allowed as law states what equipment can be used and where it can be used and a kicking tee isnt in it,,,,,,my answer is till no it wouldnt be allowed | |

Wedge it between one of your team mates ar5e cheeks, preferably one who hasnt had a very good game, then you can launch the ball, and kick his ass at the same time, problem solved.
