NPE 3- 1 AFC Royal Oak
Tough one to call really, Royal Oak have really thrown the cat amongst the pigeons at the top taking points from Hotshots and Pollards this season already, but the previous fixture saw NPE walk this one away from home. I'm backing them to take all 3 points here and consolidate top spot.
Pollards Crusaders 3-0 Harborough Hotshots
Pollards look a class apart in this league, whereas on and off field issues have probably cost Hotshots any chance they may have had of winning this league at this stage. I think the forward line of Pollards will show up any frailties that Hotshots may have at the back and will back them to inflict another defeat on beleagured Hotshots. Saying that though, if Hotshots can pull off an upset, they may just kick on and be right back in the mixer come April/May.
Little Bowden 4 - 0 The Firs OB
A bit of an unknown for me this one. However, I believe that Little Bowden will take the spoils from this one, with our players hitting 12 goals in two games and shipping none, we are hitting top form at just the right time. Firs on the other hand seem to be struggling to keep pace in this league.
The Wheel 6-0 Friar Lane
I can only see one outcome in this game. The Wheel play good quick passing football and I can see them pulling Friar Lane to pieces here. When we played Friar Lane before Xmas they just seemed to give up defensively as soon as the first goal was scored however they bomb forward like they are still in the game even when 5 or 6 goals down and leave massive gaps at the back. I think they will compete in Div 7, but this was a league too far at this stage.
