Banter for Sunday 1 January

Anyone know why our County Cup QF has been rearranged for 15th Jan instead of 8th? We asked for a free date on 15th from James as we are all going away for our Gaffers birthday and now the County FA have decided to change our game.

No - I was not previously aware of the change.

You need to speak with Matt Edkins at County FA at the first opportunity - probably Tuesday morning

Thats because Whitwick Compass are playing against Lobster in the Sunday FA cup on the 8th Jan and this always take priority over the County Cup

Best to still speak with County FA - I am not aware that they consulted the League about the free date issue when rearranging the game

The Sunday Premier Cup game Gelnfield Town Sunday v Whitwick Compass 2008 is now scheduled for 22 January.

That will automatically postpone our Bill Walton tie, Throops v Glenfield Town Sunday

However if Whitwick win their FA Cup match this weekend then their following game will be played on 22nd Jan meaning we wont play them until 29th Jan so we may still have Throops on the 22nd.

Yes - good point - we will have to wait and see the result v Lobster on Sunday

According to the Charnwood League website, the result was Whitwick Compass 3 Lobster 2

The next round of the FA Sunday Cup is on 22 January, so therefore

Throops v Glenfield Town Sunday in the Walton can still be played on 22 January

and

Glenfield Town Sunday v Whitwick Compass in the Sunday Premier Cup will be deferred until 29 January

and whitwick compass will play LEA HALL SPORTS who beat us 4-1 . should be a very decent game
