Resignation - Epworth Forest '93

I regret to advise of the resignation of Epworth Forest '93. with immediate effect.

Their playing record will be expunged from D6 and the table adjusted accordingly

We lost 5-0 to them so good for us!

Good for us not played them and it pushes us up to second with a game in hand ( we still have to win that of course) of hotshots and we still have to play them again

as I said on the other thread, really didn't see this one coming.

What was the reason behind it any idea????

no idea. they seemed to be a very well run club. if the organisation side is right, and the results are pretty respectable, I always think it is either player commitment or finances.

The club cite the increasing difficulty in the management of financial circumstances as the principal reason.

We were due to play them this week, any idea if we will have another game arranged or a week off? ta

I will leave that with James. However the only other team in D6 without a fixture is The Firs OB and you have played them twice.

not always with intent though. genuine mix ups can occur.

although I have to add I made a phone call to Morley's household last night to check the availability of a player who we think may be joining this morning. he said he hadn't signed on for anyone this season, but I didn't take his word for it and double checked, and then looked at the suspension list. turns out he was right, but never take a player's word for it!
