refs for 24th???????

i understand tommy has a huge job sorting out the refs for sunday, but has anyone any idea by when and how we'l know who we've got?

I can only repeat the footnote The Fixtures Secretary attached to the posting giving details of this weeks fixtures, earlier today.

Referees to be advised by Tommy. Please don't hassle Tommy. He has got a massive job this week as this is the first he'll have seen the fixtures too!! He will sort a ref out for everyone in due course!!!

i wouldnt worry too much about having to notify ref 4 days before... i would be happy myself if i got a phone call from the team as soon as they find out themselves,,,i am sure the league wil understand if any ref complains and teh team didnt know till late,,,

as soon as you know, contact the ref, as long as he gets contacted i would say thats fine

I concur, given the current fixture disruption. Whilst clubs are now aware of the fixtures for this Sunday, they will probably not be aware of the referee appointed. I doubt whether even the referees are aware of their own appointments yet (unless of course , I haven't got one )

If home clubs contact their appointed referee when they become aware of who it is - there should be no issue. The League fully appreciates the problems regarding late fixture scheduling and late referee appointments and will obviously take all things into consideration when dealing with any reports or correspondence which may be received.

Anyone had notification yet who their ref is for Sunday or when and how we will know???

whilst understanding your frustration,,,tommy and james have hell of a job on at moment,,,so give them some leeway

Just hang on,Tommy has a lot to do and im sure he will get it sorted,what everyone should remember is that he has a full time job,his own refereeing committments etc etc

Does it matter as long as you get one and you are notified prior to tomorrow night??!! FFS

just a suggestion i have as referee contacted the secretary of the home team and confirmed that i am on the game,,,,maybe save a few phone calls if we referees who get late calls do something similar

Here are the Referee Appointments for reference. Hopefully you will already have received a message from Tommy. It has been a difficult period, so thank you for your patience and understanding.

Next Sunday, 31 January is likely to be similar to this week with fixtures announced early in the week and referee appointments added.

Hopefully, we can then quickly return to our regular routine.
