Ashby rovers? What are they like? Are we heading for an early exit?

we beat them 2-0 in last years final, i dont think they had a player over 23, if you have big headers of a ball i would say that you will trouble them from set pieces, no particularly good players but not a bad team in all fairness, i have never seen your team play dan so i honestly dont know

Well were not bad, but I'm not sure well be good enough to beat last years finalists. Here's hoping.

terrible springs to mind. watched them lose 14-2 pre season against a very average makeshift side from the boozer down the road from us maybe div 4 or 5 alliance standard (for the makeshift boozer team that is) think you will be comfortable winners all the best me old china

Trust me Dan, as Saff will agree (I think) you should beat them based on the team they had last season, we lost 1-0 AET in the Semi's, we had four disallowed, missed a Pen, hit the post and bar, they had one shot and scored, lol.

Just looked into ashby rovers it seems their first team is second in the charnwood premier division! Surely we should be playing their reserves from division 4?

Scrap that I believe we are playing their reserves. Would anyone happen to have the number for ashby rovers. The charnwood website is a nightmare.

We lost to their reserves two years running, in similar circumstances to Harrow.

So as long as we take our chances we should be fine? That's encouraging, if we've ever got a chance at playing at Holmes park its this Sunday vase.
