Div 4 predictions W/C 18/04/11

Wednesday 20th

Bakers Arms, Blaby V Sparta Parva - As i said a while ago, Sparta struggling to get a team out midweek, Bakers will know that this game is a must win to keep the pressure on us. 3-1 Bakers, comfortable win


Niffy Rangers Reserves V Desford United - Niffy have fallen apart, and i dont think they realistically have much chance of the league. Desford are a good side and will want to bounce back, i think 2-2. I hope that 'Carling' remembers our £20 bet at the beginning of the season over who will finish above the other team?


Friday 22nd

Superfly V New Road Inn - Looking forward to playing Superfly, good time and sound bunch of lads. We have nearly a full squad available for the game, think this will be fairly close and just hoping we can edge it.


Sunday 24th

New Road Inn V Bakers Arms, Blaby - Massive game for both teams, extra pressure on Bakers as they cant afford to lose. We are going into this game like the first leg of a cup final, got players coming home early from holidays to play in this double header. Hopefully Friday nights game wont affect us too much, especially with some playing on Saturdays. If we play like we did in the first 45 against Desford i will be delighted....but need to remember before that game we had been in poor playing form, even if we did grind results out!

Sparta Parva V Phoenix United - Both teams in comfortable positions, last game for Sparta Parva before they cease to exist. Phoenix a good attacking side, i expect this to be a goal fest! 5-4

Widds - The Niffy Vs Desford game has been moved to Friday Morning.
