I think Fosse City are probably front runners, some close games in there.
Would like to win it ourselves, but this month wasnt even close to the quality of our results in January.
I think there are three teams in the mix that are new to the Alliance league this season as well, good to see....Oadby Owls and Bullies joining us i think....top work

I think we should be taken into consideration as we are unbeaten this year and if it wasnt for the last poll joining up two months i think it we would gave been in for a shout

I THINK DESFORD SHOULD BE INCLUDED REALLY TURNED THE SEASON ROUND UNBEATEN THIS YEAR (2011) TO IN THE LEAGUE AND IN WITH A SHOUT OF HOPEFULLY JUST A BALL BUT IT SHOULD GO TO A DIV 4 TEAM I FEEL AS SOME TEAMS HAVE REALLY TURNED IT ROUND AND NICE TO SEE 4 OF THEM IN THIS POLL.

Agree with you Sean, goes to show how tight this division is....we have won every game this year, with 5-4, 3-2 and 4-3 victories over Phoenix, Sparta and Magna, to win those three games with just a plus 3 goal difference shows what a battle it is.
You boys have done brilliantly this month with the stand out result being against Bakers...top effort

Cheers mate, we did mention that it wasnt a bad thing that the game was postponed against you, you boys are in good form, and if you have a slip before we play you then it takes a bit of pressure out of the game from our side....dont get me wrong, we would have beaten you anyway!!

always said teams who have only played 3 gams shouldnt be in it.. so il have to say fosse or desford for me

I will go with Fosse, done brillantly to move up 2 divisions and be 3rd at the moment

I think Kilworth have to be in with a good shout - beating Kibworth with all their Senior League players, as well as good teams like Bowden and NPE, more importantly have got themselves well up the league

I'd go for us but we only drew with Sparta so Niffy Ressies for me

If we weren't in the running then my vote would definately have gone to Niffy Reserves.

bullies could do with it as we need a ball as the bloody dogs up at the mowmacre sports ground keep ripping ours up

Ahhh we won 2 games last month! Never goes to the teams near the bottom

Probably should be Kilworth they beat 2 sides above them in the league and hammered us 14-2.

If the Bullies had played 4 then yes mate....personally i reckon you need to have played four to win the award....
I do think you would be team of the season if you break into the top two.....

we aint going to win jack now but im fairly happy with how its gone this season bar a few results its our first season together and think we done ok so overall fairly pleased think we'll be more of a force next season if everyone stays together (which i think they will) and then who knows.

Fingers crossed for you boys then. Be interesting to see if any other teams come on the scene in the prem next year. Would like to see crows nest in there.

Yeah Birstall Stamford are a very good team, been knocked off the top by another team in that league though....? Was speaking to my mate who plays for the other team, trying to get him to go on our books as back up next season, class player too! He said no!!! Swine!

yeah theres a few good teams in the charny prem both whitwicks (compass and villiage)and both loughboroughs (saints and falcons) are also decent sides its quite a strong league in fairness be nice if a couple would come over to the alliance tho

I see only 4% of the vote went towards Scrappy for this and yet they won none the less? Or does the actual poll have no effect on the commitee decision?

no mate none whatsoever

I believe the vote is made by the committee independantly, but i reckon that the votes on here do have some influence on some votes

It would be interesting to see how the committee votes went though...not sure if that information can be put on here easily?
