Semi final at Lutterworth

Just thought I would warn both teams playing that I've seen the pitch and it's like a sand pit. I think they've tried to stop it being waterlogged but thought I'd give you the heads up. Good luck to you both.

its tough to play on sand widds at the best of times but i still think ur gonna lift cup good luck sunday mate

i played on this pitch 3 weeks or so ago wasnt in best condition but at least its flat and wide

Brace maker. Did you play there this week bud ? Who you play for and when you say there is a lot of sand on the pitch has it got any grass or is it pretty much just a layer of sand ? My daughter will be coming to watch our game and wondering whether to bring her bucket and spade with me. Lol.

its always had alot of sand esp in the goal mouths and down the middle... wing play is the way forward lol

Played there about same time last year, not brilliant, but its flat and should work for a passing game

You're talking about the wrong Lutterworth Pitch....there is no sand on the pitch at all....

Lutterworth Town pitch? There was no sand on it last year when i played so i thought it was strange...how do you know that Jacko?

Because i'm the manager at Lutterworth Soccer Centre who people hire the pitch off I reckon they are thinking of Lutterworth Athletic's pitch maybe!

So what condition is it in then Jacko,

Malc i think the pitch we are at, you drive in and park in front of reception and its a gravel car park.

Widds just explained 50% of senior league grounds in Leicester!

wasnt that smooth when we played frolesworth there bit bobbly in the middle but other than that itwas quality, nice set up aswell
