When the Group games have been completed, the rest of the competition will be on a knock out basis as follows:

Quarter Finals
Game 1 - Winners of Group 'A' v Runners Up of Group 'B'
Game 2 - Winners of Group 'B' v Runners Up of Group 'A'
Game 3 - Winners of Group 'C' v Runners Up of Group 'D'
Game 4 - Winners of Group 'D' v Runners Up of Group 'C'

Semifinals
Winners of Game 1 v Winners of Game 3
Winners of Game 2 v Winners of Game 4

Finals at Holmes Park provisionally arranged for Friday 1st April

just what we all thought and eventually has worked out right .. do a group stage put scrappy and advance in same group so basically they cant then meet till the FINAL ...

dont agree mate! any team other than scrappy or advance would be a good final! u never no it could end up with a fairy tale ending! wot cup comps are about aint it?

if scrappy or advance get beat then so be it but happens every year after year advance always meet scrappy in FINALS

Agree there. Last year there was a chance for the league to make a change and put advance and scrappy against each other in the semi leaving gt and glenny to battle it out for a night out at Holmes park but as usual it is
left so the alliance get there showpiece!

Well if you hadn't scored in the semi against Prem sports they Scrappy wouldn't of been there so don't start bitching when it was ur fault Coleman

plus we would of met in the County Cup final if Scrappy had won their game against Stamford, I suppose the County FA fixed it so we wouldn't meet till the final?

and surely your not saying the League should make it so that Advance and Scrappy can't both make the finals, so fix it so it doesn't happen

Surely your not that naive to think the League haven't done it in the past and that the draw always comes out the hat!!

I can confirm the draw ALWAYS comes out of the hat

and if scrappy and advance are both in the semi finals, there is a large percentage chance that mathematically they will be pulled out the hat together

So if we get through our group its Advance or Scrappy!!!

yes wheeler at least u reconigsned i scored that semi vs prem 2-0 down got us back in it might off been 3-0 down cant rememver but turned out to be a a goal i regreted .

im pretty sure most of the other people in the alliance league would like to see them against each other before the final therefore giving other teams a fighting chance to be playing 1 of the 2 in the final for the cup

From the league point of view Scrappy v Advance might appear to be a good final but neither of these teams bring many fans to Holmes park so it would be better financially for two other teams to get there for the league.

i was at the advance fa cup game on sunday and i must admit our team had more spectators than that game (morely taylor would agree he was at our game and theirs) taking away nothing from advance though! in my opinion they are the best team in the county! and a good bunch of lads! were all relying on you to put scrappy in their place!
