Wednesday Night Football is coming!

A new Alliance League initiative, Wednesday Night Football, is being launched next Wednesday (22nd September) when Sparta Parva Reserves meet Oadby Owls Men in Division Five.

This is the first of a series of WNF fixtures, where Alliance League matches will be staged midweek under floodlights at Fanatics Park, home of Friar Lane & Epworth FC.

Kick off time is 7.30pm and admission is £2 for adults and £1 for concessions. The FLAE clubhouse will also be open for use by spectators.

This will be the first of regular fixtures throughout the season and plans are already underway for the October game. Participation is entirely voluntarily so please advise James Shephard if you would like your club to be involved in a future WNF fixture.

Notice that the floodlit kids are down to play a game at home.

Hmm, maybe the fixture has been reversed, at least i hope so!

The pitch is booked with the club and all arrangements made.
