| Ideally there are 4 Groups of 5 teams. However, following resignations there are 3 Groups of 5 and 1 Group of 4. | |

| No - only one game against each of the other teams. The draw determines if it is home or away. See Breaking News on www.alliancefootballleague.co.uk | |

Group D
Horse Scraptoft Garage 2007 Perrin Rangers Glen Parva Advance Couriers Group A is the tightest in terms of quality as any of the 5 sides can go through. I predict that Wigston Utd will go through. Sparta Moshdock look very strong this year and if there motivated can give Bulls Head a run for there money. Kirby are always a strong side and will be challenging whilst Niffy have experience of playing against the best so this might help them. Unfortunately for Accies the draw has not been very kind and they find themselves in Group B with 3 of the Prems big boys. Prem Sports will always get a strong side out and they should go through and it is too close to call between GT & Glenny. Group 3 is our group. I have been relaibly informed Sporting Highcross are a strong side so i expect our toughest challenge to come against them. White Lion are improving all the time and actually drew against us last season at there place. Frolesworth are a enthusiastic young side and capable of springing a result and AFC Hurricanes are a good and physical team. I would hope to go through and on paper we should but you never know. Group 4 is the group of Death. Last years finalists meet in the Group stage along with Perrin Rangers. You got to feel sorry for Horse and Parva but if rumours are to be believed and Jake Limbert has signed for Parva then its an early chance to play against his former club. I would go with Scrappy and Advanced with Perrin running them close. | |

| In Group games, normal League rules apply, ie no extra time or penalties. In the knock out stage, normal Cup rules apply. | |
