We have Sporting Highcross today...10:30 Winstanley, got two important players out but other than that a full strength team, Dezza tells me they are low on numbers this week so could be our best chance of an upset. I think Sporting are drafting some players in as they have 6 lads away which is a shame, would have liked a game against a full strength Sporting, but sure it will be a test anyway

its a shame when that happens, but at this time of the year the results dont always neccessarily matter. all about fitness and shape.

lots of other teams on here do a whole lot of posturing over friendly results. its all about when the season starts

Yes, but only found that out when they arrived, we arranged to play the 2nd team, won 4-2 but bit pissed off especially as 5 of our players decided to go on poker night until 7am and still played (appeared), 2 never showed at all.

it went on longer than thought i must admit, however we turned up with 30 mins sleep thats commitment

Oh, I wondered why your boys weren't at their best. Good job our Res's or First team didn't show up as it would have been a little one sided.

Never have I ever seen the ref shake a players hand after creating a goal - good to see an impartial ref....hahahahaha...you do know those decisions wont happen every week??

Nice to see he took the time also to learn all your players first names before the game also. I guess he didn't get the time to ask us ours. Oh dear.
