Huncote Sunday 7-2 Leics Constab
Ryan Smith 3
Joe Wynder 2
Dan Bennett
We's Johnson

1-0 up after 30 seconds and we soon raced into a 3-0 lead. Constab got back into in the second half pulling it back to 4-2 but a quick reply after their second sealed the win and we ran out deserved winners. Tough battle, great win.

EA 2 - 0 Wigston Fields

Very poor showing from us this morning; we just weren't up for it at all. Credit to EA for capitalising on our mistakes and wanting the game more. First half was pretty slow with not many chances, but EA took the lead when there striker was allowed too much time and space (from our opinion) and play a through ball which our defence should have cleared. Striker went through and finished well one on one. Fields had a couple of opportunities to level the game, mark Allen forcing a finger tip save from the ea keeper from distance and Stef Kuzyk with a header just wide. Allen also had a near post effort fired over the bar as fields pressed for the equaliser. Second half and more of the same, EA wanting the game more and fields not being able to get a foot hold in the game. The decisive moment came as the EA left winger but a good ball into the box and the striker finished excellently to double the lead. After that the next two big chances both came to EA but Fields keeper Dan McDonald, who made some quality saves, kept the score down. First a clear cut penalty was saved down to his left and then he made a point blank save late on. EA also hit a post in the second half as they looked to finish the game. One win and one loss isn't the worst start but we will need to play much better next week against Blaby.

blaby utd 7 qpr 2

norwell 2

different standard to all div 6 teams from blaby. i played div 2 and 4 last season and these would have beat most in those divisions. no sour grapes from us, but hard to see these not winning the league. we spent 85 mins defending and although we took the lead, it was all one way traffic. blaby could have hit double figures easily and thats down to our keeper 1st half and the fact we had 9 men blocking their attacks!!
fair play to the ref, only a young lad and although there wasn't really any dirty moments, he showed a cool head to send their left back off, 1st yellow for having a go at him and 2nd for a tackle when last man. good to see someone who's possibly just starting out taking no rubbish

lbt 5 fc pochin 0
just goes to show don't believe any pre season hype
we were as bad as I have ever seen us
struggling for players as we have been in pre season
we possibly should have been 2-0 up before they scored, but with their first chance
their no11 produced a cracking finish. 1-0 down at halftime it went downhill from then on
giving away 2 penalties finished us off.
the front 3 for Talbot are quick can finish and interchange well, they will score a hatful between
them.at this early stage Talbot and countesthorpe seem the teams to beat
all the best to the Talbot lads for the season and hope to give you a better game next time.
also this vindicates the committee's decision to drop us down a division
well reffed by kev french

Aths 6 Magna 3

Good to get going again, Division 1 is going to be a very open division. Went 2-0 up, they pulled one back, missed a pen right before half time. Went 3-1 up 2nd half then 3-2 then 4-2 then 4-3 then pulled away at the end - thought we were a lot fitter than them in the end, they will pick points up though. Hoping for a successful season managed to keep the majority of players and added a bit of quality too.

Reffed very well by Alec Simpson also.

Ha so you had frenchy as referee and you still got batterd, I'm guessing he was giving pochin all the decisions aswel. He loves half ypochins players like Kelvin Atkins and Ben OKeefe

SPINNEY HILL 2 FRIAR LANE 3

Really disappointed with our lads today... Heads dropped even tho there was only a goal in it... we could've won the game in the last 15 mins alone.. well played to friar lane and good luck to the rest of your season lads!
